“As part of its ongoing efforts to continuously engage business partners, ZIMDEF recently held a business luncheon in Kadoma. This presented an opportunity for ZIMDEF to interact with business partners and employers in and around Kadoma. ZIMDEF reminded the stakeholders of the need to ensure that they timeously remit their manpower training levy every month. This is a statutory obligation that must be observed by employers in Zimbabwe.
ZIMDEF also shared with employers that they can now make payments in the ZEEPAY platform.
The luncheon also provided an opportunity for ZIMDEF to share on the work that the ZIMDEF does and the recent Education 5.0 projects that have been funded by ZIMDEF.
Similar engagements will be held throughout the country in 2024.
